Hi. I’m Art Mills, a recently retired person living in Oregon with my beloved wife of 50 years, Thea.  We love this community in the midst of art and culture and the natural beauty of Southern Oregon.

In my professional life, I’ve worked in both air quality planning and land conservation, in philanthropy as a program officer for a major community foundation, and in ministry as a Presbyterian pastor.

My hobbies include reading, fly fishing, fly tying, hiking, biking, kayaking, singing, and carpentry.

My interests include natural resource protection, history, theater, politics, theology, spirituality, music, and social justice.

Social justice is one of my passions…therefore, this blog.
